A Day Bought With Sacrifice

On the 14th of August, 1947, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and a generation of Muslims who came before us gave everything — their homes, their comfort, and for many, their lives — so that one day a nation could stand free on its own land. That freedom was not handed down; it was earned through the Kalima, through unity, and through a struggle that asked ordinary people to become extraordinary. Every year since, this soil has asked us the same question: what will you do to honour what was given to you?

This year, the horse-riding brotherhood of District Gujrat has an answer.

The Rally

Nezabazi Union District Gujrat has always worked to protect the value and dignity of every horse-riding brother in the district — and this Independence Day, that same spirit is being brought to the streets of Gujrat in a display of unity, tradition, and love for the homeland.

The rally will begin at Service More at 4:00 PM on 14th August, opening with Tilawat-e-Quran-e-Majeed. Every horse-riding brother across District Gujrat is invited — in full uniform, and carrying the flag of Pakistan.

The Route

To give the occasion the scale and dignity it deserves, a proper procession has been arranged, with a decorated horse carrying a speaker at the front to lead the formation. The rally will move through:

Service More → Jail Chowk → Kacheri Chowk → Sheesha Wala Darwaza → Nawabzada Chowk → Rehmat Ilahi Chowk → past Larida → past Service Industries → back to Service More, where the rally will conclude.

Refreshments

Gondal Group Industries — Zeeshan Gondal and Umar Gondal — will be arranging refreshments for all participating horse-riding brothers along the route, in support of the district's riders and this celebration of the homeland.

Media Coverage

The event will receive full media coverage, carrying the spirit of Gujrat's Nezabazi community to a wider audience on this national occasion.
