Tent pegging has always lived on the ground — the horse, the lance, the peg. Jashn E Chakora Championship 2026, held at Kalas Ground, Village Kalas in Chakwal on 28 August 2026, kept all of that, but became the first tent pegging championship in the world to run its entire competition workflow digitally on a single platform: Neza.

No paper registration registers. No hand-written score sheets passed between judges. No spreadsheets stitched together at midnight to work out who won. From the moment the event was created to the instant the winners were confirmed, everything happened on neza.com.pk.

Step 1 — The championship was created online

The organisers set up Jashn E Chakora Championship 2026 directly on Neza: name, venue, date, cover, rules and its events. Two events were configured — a Single (individual) event and a Section event for four-rider teams — both using the traditional 4–2–0 scoring system. Once published, the championship had its own public page that anyone could open and share.

Step 2 — Riders registered digitally

Registration was handled entirely through the platform. In total the championship gathered 170 registrations covering roughly 320 riders, entered either directly by participants or added by the organisers through Neza''s manual-registration flow — each entry linked to its club, its riders and their horses.

Step 3 — Events and sections were scored live

On competition day, the Single and Section events were scored run-by-run inside Neza. Officials marked each run — carry, cut or miss — from the platform, run after run, and the totals built up automatically. For the four-rider Section event, per-run qualification carried the field forward exactly as the format requires, without anyone recalculating by hand.

Step 4 — Rankings updated automatically

Because the scoring lived in the system, the rankings were produced by the platform itself. Individual standings, team/section standings and the overall championship table were all generated from the same run data — hundreds of ranking rows computed and kept in sync as results came in, with carry rate and run counts shown alongside points.

Step 5 — Results and winners, confirmed on Neza

The final step — the results and the winners'' podium — was published straight from the platform. Spectators, riders and clubs could open the championship page and see the same verified results at the same time: event winners, section winners and overall champions, each traceable back to the runs that produced them.

Why this matters

A tent pegging championship is a large, fast-moving thing: many clubs, hundreds of riders, multiple events, several rounds, and a scoring format that punishes arithmetic mistakes. Doing all of that on paper is slow and disputable. Jashn E Chakora Championship 2026 showed it can instead be created, filled, scored, ranked and decided in one place — transparently, and in front of everyone.
