Eight Teams Confirmed

The teams below have now earned their place at the International Tent Pegging World Cup, Jordan 2026:

🇯🇴 Jordan (host country)
🇿🇦 South Africa
🇸🇩 Sudan
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia
🇮🇳 India
🇵🇰 Pakistan
🇴🇲 Oman
🇪🇬 Egypt
🇾🇪 Yemen

These eight teams came through four qualifying groups held around the world — Egypt and Yemen qualified first, followed by Saudi Arabia and India, then Sudan and South Africa, and most recently Pakistan and Oman from the Oman 2026 qualifier.

Pakistan's Road to Jordan

Pakistan finished first in the Oman 2026 Group C qualifier, with a final score of 455 points, winning 6 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze medals across the tournament. Oman, the host nation, finished second and also secured its place at the World Cup. Qatar, who finished third in the group, now moves on to a separate playoff for the last remaining spot.

One Final Spot Left

One qualifying place for the World Cup is still open. The third-place team from each of the four qualifying groups will compete against each other for this last spot:

🇮🇶 Iraq — from Group A
🇰🇼 Kuwait — from Group B
🇶🇦 Qatar — from Group C
🇦🇪 UAE — from Group D

Four teams, one final chance. The winner of this playoff will become the ninth confirmed team at the World Cup.

What's Next

With qualification almost complete, attention now turns to the tournament itself. Neza will continue to follow Pakistan's preparations as the team heads toward Jordan.
