Pakistan Finishes First

Three days of competition have ended at the WC Qualifying Tournament for Tent Pegging, Oman 2026, Group C. After winning the Section Event on Day 1 and Day 2, and finishing second on Day 3, Pakistan finished first in the final team standings.

Final Team Standings

🥇 Pakistan 🇵🇰
🥈 Oman 🇴🇲
🥉 Qatar 🇶🇦

A well-fought tournament with skill and teamwork from teams across the region. Congratulations to all the teams and athletes who took part.

What This Means for Jordan

Group C was one of four regional groups deciding places at the 5th Tent Pegging World Cup in Jordan. In the other three groups, the top two teams qualified — Sudan and South Africa from Group A, Saudi Arabia and India from Group B, and Egypt and Yemen from Group D. If the same rule applies to Group C, then Pakistan and Oman, who finished first and second, would both qualify for Jordan. Qatar, who finished third, would move to a separate play-off tournament for third-place teams, where one more World Cup spot is still available.

The End of a Long Journey

From being placed in Group C, to a full training camp, to the team's departure for Muscat, and three days of results in both team and individual events, Pakistan's campaign in Oman ends with the result the team hoped for. Neza will continue following the Group C qualification result and the road to Jordan as it is confirmed.
