One Final Spot, One Play-Off

Eight teams have already confirmed their place at the 5th Tent Pegging World Cup in Jordan. Now, one last spot will be decided at the World Cup Qualifying Play-Off Tournament — Oman 2026, held in Muscat.

The Teams

🇮🇶 Iraq
🇰🇼 Kuwait
🇶🇦 Qatar

These are the teams that finished third in their qualifying groups. Earlier reports also named the UAE as a fourth team in this play-off, but the official event poster lists only these three.

The Venue

The play-off will be held at the Al Assayel Equestrian Academy in Muscat, organized by the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF), the Oman Equestrian & Racing Federation, and Al Assayel Equestrian Academy.

What's at Stake

Whichever team wins this play-off will become the ninth and final confirmed team at the World Cup, joining Jordan, South Africa, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Oman, Egypt and Yemen in Jordan this November.
